Lazarus Naturals was one of the early adopters of creating hemp extracts as they were founded in 2014 by Sequoia Price-Lazarus. Their mission was to create top-quality products accessible to anyone meaning making their products as affordable as possible. Today, they are listed as one of the best and most affordably priced brands on the market. The company offers assistance programs and a 60% discount to veterans or individuals with long-term disabilities. Lazarus Naturals is part of the AHPA, US Round Table of Hemp, and Oregon Farm Bureau. Unlike most brands, they are a seed to shelf supplier meaning they’re involved in the growing and manufacturing process.

Where Does Lazarus Natural’s Hemp Come From?

Since 2019 the majority of their hemp comes from their own farm in Oregon. All of their full-spectrum and most of their isolates come from hemp grown on their own farms. They are one of the few brands that grow their own hemp. The rest of their hemp is grown on farms in Oregon from other top growers. They are also one of the few brands that ensure all products follow the strict certification process of the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) Hemp Research Pilot Program.

How are Lazarus Naturals products manufactured?

Lazarus uses ethanol to extract the cannabinoids from the hemp. This is different from brands that use C02 extraction as the ethanol allows for more terpenes in products. Typically this can lead to some added risks of additional unwanted solvents but Lazarus does take an extra step to remove these solvents. Their manufacturing facility does meet the FDA’s current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs).

Their products have not been certified organic but they are hoping this will change in 2021.

Lazarus Naturals Third-Party Testing

Columbia Laboratories is the company that tests all of Lazarus Natural’s products. They used to be called Pixis Labs and they are an ISO-17025-certified testing lab.

Does Lazaurs Naturals have THC in their products?

By shopping our Lazarus Naturals products, you have the option to purchase full-spectrum meaning there will be trace (legal) amounts of THC along with other cannabinoids and terpenes. The amounts of THC will be .3% or less and non-psychoactive.

If you would like to see “test results”, each product we sell has a batch number on it. You can access certificates of analysis by clicking on “test results” and corresponding to the batch number of your product. COA’s  include:

High Potency Full Spectrum Oil

This is one of their most sold products which has no flavoring and is easy to take with the dropper. It’s full-spectrum and has 100mg of extract per 1 mL.

25-mg Full-Spectrum Capsules

The Lazarus Naturals capsules are one of the most popular and easy products to consume. These ones specifically contain 50mg per serving of full-spectrum extracts. You can buy the smaller 300mg bottle or a larger 1,200 mg bottle.

Soothing Mint Full-Spectrum Balm

This topical is also a full-spectrum product that rubs on smoothly and considered one of their most popular items. These are ideal for aches and pains and can be easily rubbed on your muscles or joints. This is a non-vegan product as it contains beeswax. Additionally, there are several essential oils including menthol, basil, and wintergreen.

How to choose which Lazarus Naturals oil to buy?

Choosing which product to buy will depend on your personal preference or desire for usage. If you’re looking for something that will enter your system quicker, the Lazarus oils would be your best bet. Capsules take longer to ingest but you don’t have to taste any hemp extracts when taking them.

The higher concentrated formulas are best for when you want to relax. You can take them at night 1 hour before bed. The topicals are meant for actually rubbing them on your skin/muscles. If you have aches and pains here these are great in conjunction with the oils.
